Internships at UNDP Jamaica

Internship Programme at UNDP Jamaica Country Office offers students from diverse academic backgrounds the opportunity to acquire direct exposure to UNDP's work. The internships are designed to complement development-oriented studies with practical experience in various aspects of multilateral technical co-operation.

Interns are assigned to different clusters and units of the UNDP Jamaica country office. Assignments vary greatly in terms of content. They may have a thematic focus in one of the UNDP supported programmes in Jamaica, project management or development services.

Selection Criteria and Conditions of Service:

  1. Applicants must be currently studying at university
  2. Work experience is not required
  3. Full or part time internships are accepted
  4. Internship duration ranges from six weeks to six months
  5. Internship is not remunerated
