The UNDP Jamaica Multi-Country Office procures goods and services through competitive solicitations, emphasizing the highest image and reputation of the organization through a procurement process in full conformity with financial regulations and rules. Supporting this, we focus on economy and best value for money, representing the best return on the investment; fairness, integrity and transparency; and effective competition. Records are open, as appropriate to inspection by auditors; any deviations from fair and equal treatment are detected very early, protecting the integrity of the process and the interests of the organization.
We publish online Procurement Notices for all procurement of more than US$30,000 and for Long-Term Agreements. For procurement of more than US$100,000, an international competitive bidding process is undertaken with publication on our website, as well as on the UNDP global website (www.undp.org), UN Global Market (www.ungm.org) websites and selected publications, as relevant. Interested suppliers are invited to express interest by mail within the announced deadline.
