Jamaica's 2017 edition of the Social Good Summit went to the University of Technology with a technology expo and a panel discussion that focused discussions on the Jamaica We Want by 2030. Focusing on the theme, “We can unlock technology’s potential to make Jamaica a better place,” participants came from government, public and private sectors, civil society, academia including university students and other youths.

A job preparation and recruitment app loaded with interactive tests and training tools branded The Interview JM is a suite of self-help psychometric tests and training tools for job seekers and companies recruiting staff, providing a platform for continuous development and learning. The developer, Danielle Tait is now under contract to UNDP to utilize her prize money to further develop her web application into a full solution.
