We work to strengthen national capacity in Turks and Caicos Islands in human resources, local government and sustainable development. Our programme, which began in 2007 and runs until 2009, aims to provide vocational training for women and men throughout the islands; to strengthen the capacity of local governance actors to manage local affairs; and to improve national capacity to implement and monitor environment and disaster management programmes.
