Profile:

The long-standing and emerging challenges to realizing peace, security and justice in Jamaica demand, among other things, a space where peace practitioners, locally, regionally and globally, can share their experience and insights, problem solve, reflect and support each other. The JamPfP Community of Practice was developed in response to urgent need for coordination of security, justice and armed violence prevention initiatives in Jamaica. The ICT based community connects government ministries and department, civil society, institutions and other security and justice stakeholders locally, regionally and internationally on a continuous basis in an effort to harness existing knowledge and experience, share best practices and lessons learned, and build social capital.
